Current obsessions: Brockhampton, Baby Driver, the opening four songs of the new Symposium album, the unnamed American Boyband theme song, any given Kroll Show skit

Favorite film: The Place Beyond the Pines, Scream, Can’t Hardly Wait, Beyond Clueless
One thing everyone should have in their closet: A black pair of Dr. Marten 1461s
Three songs that changed your life: Head Over Heels by Tears For Fears, Hard to Explain by The Strokes, and Only Skin/Sapokanikan by Joanna Newsom (bonus: Thief by Ansel Elgort)
One thing you would tell your fifteen-year-old-self: Don’t pop your pimples. Don’t spend so much time scouring the Internet for inspiration; write and write and WRITE! Don’t force yourself into a relationship because you feel obligated to make up time that you’ve missed. You’re perfectly fine alone and you flourish in isolation.
What inspires you to create?: The feeling that overcomes you when: a) you’ve come home from school with a half-empty Icee and you have three free hours to sit in isolation and create; b) your mother runs to the store and you have thirty-minutes to bang on the keys of her Yamaha grand piano with enough force to combat the ending of Soft as Chalk; c) you find yourself blushing for the first time after developing a new crush, knowing that the idea of them that you build up in your head is sweeter than their actual personality (but you cling onto it with all of your might); d) the chorus of Lovefool by The Cardigans.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?: My answer to this question interchanges every two-or-so months, but it would probably be Hard To Explain by The Strokes. It’s my personal reset-button; whenever something goes wrong in my life, or I’m confused, lost, upset, depressed, or feeling detached from myself, I’ll listen to it and everything in the world is alright again.
Whose job would you like to steal?: Kim Taylor Bennett
What does your pussy pop for?: 80’s synth-pop, teen movies from the nineties, and Adam Demamp
Guilty Pleasure: I hatewatch The League whenever I’m in a depressive stupor. I also unapologetically love My Own Worst Enemy by Lit.
